Effective on April 17, 2025.
Teravent's mission is to accelerate the deployment of carbon removal solutions in a manner that is both rapid and responsible. Integrity, transparency, and accountability are central to Teravent's purpose - they are essential for delivering credible, verifiable carbon dioxide removal.
The Teravent Environmental and Social Policy reflects these principles and aligns with globally recognized best practices, including ISO 14001 standards. It is structured to:
- Minimize Teravent's environmental footprint, including energy use and emissions.
- Promote the health, safety, and well-being of employees, partners, and the communities where we operate.
This Policy applies to all Teravent employees. The organisation will communicate the importance of environmental and social responsibility to all staff and stakeholders, including contractors and partners.
This Policy covers Teravent's internal environmental and social commitments. Requirements for carbon removal suppliers and project partners are set out in Teravent's Standards, Protocols, and Modules, which are independently audited for compliance as part of the credit issuance process.
Environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and operational integrity are not separate considerations - they are core to everything we do. Teravent embeds sustainability and social accountability into every aspect of operations.
